Huge, repeated views, but the strictest rules: mark it "made for kids" and keep it completely safe.
Course · Stage 7: Niche playbooks · Lesson 22/24 · 10 min
Why it matters
Kids rewatch familiar songs and stories — a good video lives for a very long time.
Made-for-kids content on YouTube has comments and personalised ads turned off, so ad income per view is usually lower. Plan your income first.
Step by step
- Mark content "made for kids" properly when it targets children. Don't dodge it to keep comments.
- Pick one repeatable format: action songs, colours / numbers / letters, stories with a lesson.
- AI characters must be cute and consistent, with nothing scary and no dangerous actions kids might copy.
- Make your own music or use clearly licensed tracks; avoid famous copyrighted melodies.
- Plan side income: custom songs / videos (birthdays, kindergartens), printables, learning apps.
Common mistakes
- Not marking made-for-kids to keep comments — penalties are possible.
- Using copyrighted melodies.
- Copyable but dangerous scenes (climbing, playing with sockets).
