Voice, music, copyright and AI labels
Last updated 13 Oct 2026
A beautiful video with infringing music or no AI label can still be demonetized or removed.
Course · Stage 5: Consistent AI images & video · Lesson 15/24 · 8 min
Why it matters
Copyrighted music — even 10 seconds — can get a video blocked or its revenue shared with the rights holder.
Many platforms and new laws require labelling AI-generated content when images or voices could be mistaken for real.
Step by step
- Voice: use your real voice, your own cloned voice, or a native AI voice for that language; listen to every line for misreadings.
- Music: use the platform's library, music you generated, or tracks checked for Content ID.
- Mix: duck the music under the voice; the voice must be clear on a phone speaker.
- AI label: switch on the platform's AI-content label; note on screen when visuals are AI illustrations.
- Watermarks from AI tools in a corner: keep that corner empty in the prompt and place your logo over it in editing — still label as AI.
Common mistakes
- Taking music from someone else's video.
- Using a multilingual AI voice that mispronounces words without checking.
- Covering AI marks and not labelling.
Ready-made prompt (ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini)
Here is the original script: [paste] and a transcript of the AI voice file: [paste]. Compare line by line and list misread, missing or extra words, and which lines need regenerating.
Exercise
Edit one video with voice, licensed music and an AI label; check it on a phone speaker.
Done when: Voice 100% accurate, music from a legitimate source, AI label switched on when posting.
